NWAS meeting

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust (NWAS) is keen to listen to and talk with the people of Alston about the provision of a safe and effective ambulance working model.

To progress this important issue a series of drop-in sessions are being offered at Alston Town Hall on the 12th and 13th May.  The drop-in sessions will take place during the afternoon and evening of Thursday, 12th May and the morning of Friday, 13th May to be accessible to as many people as possible.  The sessions will be hosted by our Director of Operations, Ged Blezard together with our Head of Service for Cumbria and Lancashire, Gene Quinn.  Also in attendance will be our Community Resuscitation Manager, Mark Evans and Sector Manager for North Cumbria, Rhonda Stanger.  Although there will be a waiting room available at the Town Hall (the main hall), in order to give all attending the same opportunity to speak and be heard and not keep people waiting, the sessions listed below are bookable in advance by emailing We would strongly advise booking a time slot or it may not be possible to see everyone.
