It is with deep sadness that Alston Moor Parish Council learnt of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Through her unswerving devotion to the service of this nation and to the Commonwealth, Her late Majesty earned our love, respect and loyalty. She was sure in her faith and steadfast in her duty, standing as a constant in an often turbulent world through a huge period of change. As we reflect on our Nation’s loss we remember a life well-lived and give thanks for the commitment and dedication of Her late Majesty.

We pledge to His Majesty The King our loyal support as he accedes to the Throne and to His Majesty and all members of the Royal Family we offer our deepest condolences.
